917 Smith Motor Carrier Requirements
To become a motor carrier with 917 Smith, you must meet the following requirements:
Active Operating Authority
Ensure that your operating authority is active and in good standing.
Proof of Liability Coverage
Provide proof of liability coverage with a minimum of $1,000,000.
Proof of Cargo Coverage
Submit proof of cargo coverage with a minimum of $100,000.
Signed 917 Smith Transporting carrier packet
Return a signed copy of the 917 Smith Carrier Agreement to complete the registration process.
W9 Form
Submit a completed W9 form with a Federal Tax ID or Social Security Number for tax reporting purposes.
Safety Rating
